Dr. Hrkel has more than 40 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. His experience includes almost all facets of reservoir engineering from reservoir simulation to subsurface evaluation and reserves estimation.He has managed reservoir evaluation teams, core and fluid property laboratories, and EOR and waterflood projects. Ed has served as an expert witness before the Texas Railroad Commission and Alaska’s Oil and Gas Commission. He has worked on projects in all parts of the world both onshore and offshore. He is a lifetime member of SPE where he has been an author, reviewer, committee member, student paper judge, and mentor.
Ed served on Texaco’s patent committee and Chevron’s Reserves Advisory Committee, and is a Chevron Fellow Emeritus.
